US cities prepare to host the upcoming 2011 FIVB World League matches
The much awaited men’s international volleyball event of 2011 Season, the FIVB World League is just around the corner.
The tournament is supposed to begin on May 27 and sixteen best volleyball squads from across the globe will enter the competition, in order to stage thrilling performances. A number of participating countries of the 2011 World League will get the chance
to host the prelims, while some of the matches will be played on American soil.  
In this regard, three cities of United States are lined-up to set the field of play for World League competitions. A total of six matches will be played at following three U.S. venues.

Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill Reynolds Centre in Tulsa, Oklahoma Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California
The USA Volleyball opened the sale of tickets in the previous month of April. The passionate volleyball fans purchased the tickets via online requests and also by using the box office. The encounter of the American and Polish teams on June 17 will mark the
opening of campaign in USA. The match will be played at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates. According to the set plan, the two teams will cross their ways on 17th and 18th of June respectively. Tickets for these two matches were sold via official website
of Sears Centre and through Box Office, while the price varied from $15 to $25 depending on the seating plan.
Likewise, the Reynolds Centre at the University of Tulsa will be the second venue for World League matches in America. The U.S. Men’s Team will clash with World No.1 and defending champion Brazil on June 24-25.
The clash between the teams of Brazil and USA will be of extreme importance and it is expected that scores of volleyball enthusiasts will make it to the competition hall. The 2011 FIVB World League will make the final stop at the Walter Pyramid in the city
of Long Beach, California, where USA and Puerto Rico Teams will take positions at the centre court. The matches will be played in the first week of July.
The Chief Executive Officer of USA Volleyball, Doug Beal stated, “We are glad to be able to bring World League to Southern California and its many volleyball fans. We look forward to some big crowds and exciting matches against Puerto Rico.”
