Question:

US citizen wanting to permanently move to the UK? How to go about it?

I studied abroad last year and the UK and decided that is my home- my student visa was short term though and I am back in the US. I really want to go back to the UK to live permanently- London or Glasgow preferably - but I'd take where I could get. What I looked into while I was there seemed pretty hopeless for Americans to make the move permanently. (I found lots of temp programs) I would also need to finish College- if I had to start over in the UK I would.

*ANY* info & help please??!!

  1. Do you have any family members there? Or would you just like to move there for your life, With somewhat.. A friend? Moving out of the country is a huge thing. If you were born in US. You would be leaving your family. Unless your family sticks with you in traveling. If you have been there before , Then its no problem.

If you live with your family, Talk to them about moving along with you too. Or keeping in touch to pay for your college your gonna be going to. Well good luck<3 & If you do move to UK have fun!
