I was denied acces into america around last july seeing as i had lived there illegally

I lived there with my mom

She is married to an american citizen

When we got back to England we applied for citizenship in november 2007

About April i got a notice saying my case was approved

And then a bunch of letters after that asking if we kept wanting to continue our immigration

for around two months i havent heard anything from immigration

Is thisd normal?

Also my moms case is still pending

Why is hers taking longer than mine?

  1. Having lived in the US illegally, you & your mother are barred from re-entry.  For how long depends on how long you were in the US illegally.  If you left the US voluntarily before you turned 18 and returned to your home country, your mother's illegal actions will not be held against you if you apply for legal immigration and are qualified.  So perhaps this is why there is a disparity between you and your mother.
