Has anyone ever had to deal with the US consulate / embassy in Lebanon? Were they easy to deal with? Did you get what you needed on your first visit or were you turned down and made to come back?

  1. All of my dealings with them have been very cordial and they have been very helpful.  The people I have seen that have been asked to return are those who did not have the proper documents or were missing other information necessary to assist them with their requests.

  3. Yes, I did.

They are very cooperative. They are a bit tight on non-Immigrant visas and it is absolutely their right to turn down as many applications as they want.

In my case, my family had an immigration case being processed and the guys were pretty flexible and very friendly.

I also used to contact them by email and supply them my phone, and sometimes they would call me over the phone.

All members of my family got what they went for from the first visit. My brother even had to benefit from a certain law, and it was done so easily.

As long as you supply them with what they had asked, they will not turn you down. The major thing is to really to know what forms you should have applied and how the course of processing your application goes.
