Moscow has issued an extraordinary warning to the West that military assistance to Georgia for use against South Ossetia or Abkhazia would be viewed as a "declaration of war" by Russia.

The extreme rhetoric from the Kremlin's envoy to NATO came as President Dmitry Medvedev stressed he will make a military response to US missile defence installations in eastern Europe.

And Moscow also emphasised it was closely monitoring the build-up of NATO firepower in the Black Sea.

  1. Russia gave access to certain ports (Poti) for humanitarian aid. To US ships as well. US ships were to dock there but as a last jab turned to a different port that wasn‘t monitored. This raises serious questions on US intentions.

As for the question of Georgia. It seems to be mostly used as a PR tool to get at Russia. But as a strategic base, I suppose that it’s close to Europe, Russia and the Middle East. It would be a good spot for US expansionism.

  2. Well if there were going to be war from russia, its neighboring countries would be US first line of defense. Poland is building missiles now and Im sure Georgia will build the missile plan too. Its simply arming others to fight for US intentions
