Question:

US student, thinking about University of Brighton?

I'm a senior in high school in the US and I'm applying to college in the near future. Other than my US choices, I've been thinking about applying to University of Brighton (in England, just to clarify). I've looked all over the website and it's looking pretty good, but I still have a question. Every college or uni in the US has a 4 year bachelor's degree program. I know that the school system is different in each country, so when I looked at the UoB website I saw that most of the degrees that I'm interested in were 'Full Time: 3 years.' Is this the same bachelor's degree I would get in the US, even though it's one year less? If I got my degree there, would it be valid in the US? It would be great if someone who goes there could help me out, or a US student who has been there. Anyone?

  1. ask a magic 8 ball what is right

  2. Come to the UK!

It will be as good as the US degree (it's probably just more work or longer terms, to make up the extra year).

And it will be valid in the US. And employers will be all impressed at your travelling and independence, living abroad etc.

Come here! British people will make you welcome. :)
