US troops left Saudi Arabia. If they're invaded we go in & protect the oil. Why not the same policy in Iraq?

  1. Isn't that what we're already doing in Iraq.  It's all about oil, nothing about all those high sounding words we get from the White House and assorted Washington gasbags.


  2. Saudi Arabia isn't an unstable country with a newly formed Government that was just invaded by the U.S and is trying to exert its influence over a strong insurgency movement.

    Saudi Arabia is no picnic, but they are in better shape than Iraq. Besides, there is no justification for the Americans to be there. You may say the same for Iraq, but you didn't do anything in 2003 to say otherwise, so..
