US visa with ILR in UK?

I am ILR(permant resident) in UK and have a permant job and was arreseted one on shoplifting cahrges, what to do you think do have a cance of getting US visa from London Embassy.

The shoplifting mistake happend two years ago.

if you have not repeated the offense? i do not think that would stop you from getting  visa, depends on the charges? and the degree of shoplifting?value?

just do not hide it on the visa interview, the US will know about it,

if you do not try to get something? you will never know nor get it.
