USA's 2008 ice hockey team -

Question

who are they? do we have a webpage for them? I can't seem to find the schedule for the games - are they playin ice hockey at the olympics this year??? of course they are - right?????? help me please :-(

Ice hockey is a winter olympic sport.  It is not played during the summer olympics.

The next winter olympics will be Vancouver 2010.

Summer olympics don't have winter sports. Hence the name, summer olympics. Wait till Vancouver 2010.

Gionta (maybe...he's trailing off and may not be international quality in 2 years)

I'm probably missing a few no brainers, but I left out a couple like Chelios because he (like others such as Schneider) will be retired by then, or at least most likely anyway, or too old to be good enough.

Also, I'm not that knowledgeable as far as American born defensemen go as you can see, and there's always the possibility of some big young kid popping up this season or next season that I'm not expecting.
