USA Blu ray Movies Region Free ? Well this site tells me so ? What do u think?

I have a uk playstation 3 .... This site i have found is showing me what Blu ray Region A are Region Free and will work on my Playstaion in the uk ! Check it out ?

What do you think ? I only ask this as i dont see much talk about it ? Anyone know the facts ?

  1. The fact of the matter is, although there are 3 different Blu-Ray regions, the majority of major motion pictures that come out for Blu-Ray are region free. I think the statistic is like three fourths or something. So yeah, they're truely region free.

    However, I could be wrong, but I think there can still occationally be an issue, even if a discs region free. If it's a major motion picture, you should have no problem. But if it's something different, like something filmed for US television, there's still a slight chance you'd have a problem. We use 29.97 frames pers second (NTSC) for TV here in the States.  The UK uses 25fps (PAL), so depending on how something was filmed and transfered, I think there might be slight chance it could still not work on your player/tv.  But yeah, movies should be green light all the way.


  2. It looks like you order from Amazon. I have never had any bad info from them. Although one is a pre-order.
