  1. A written drivers license test tests your knowledge of traffic signs, traffic laws and

safe driving practices in the juridiction where

you will be seeking the license.  Make sure you

get the Bureau of Motor Vehicles/Department of Motor Vehicles guide FROM THE UNITED STATES STATE where you are going to be tested, there are some small differences in laws from state to state.  An important example is speed limits.  School Zone speed limits are 20 mph here in OHIO 15 miles per hour in West Virginia and 25 miles per hour in Indiana .  The

speed limit on rural interstates is 65 miles per hour in Ohio and most eastern US states, 70 miles per hour in South Carolina, Michigan, California and Most Southern US States and 75 miles per hour in Colorado, Nevada and most US Western States and 80 miles per hour in the western part of Texas. (I wish OHIO , a state known for strict speed law enforcement, had 80 miles per hour!!!)  Be sure you can think in terms of miles per hour too,  you may, as an international

be used to kilometers per hour.  100 km per hour

    is 62 mph, 110 km/hr is 68 and 120 km/hr is 74

and Italy allows its drivers to drive 130 km per hour, 81 literally so that would be just like having a speed limit of 80 here in a US state.

If you obtain the study guide for your written drivers license test FROM YOUR OWN US State

and you study it, and you know basic street signs

(these are nearly universal) you should be able to

get near 100% on your written drivers licence test.

I got 100 on my Ohio test in 1973 when I was 16 and back then, the speed limit on Ohio rural interstates was 70 miles per hour!

  2. Easy if you study.

  3. Every state is different, but Tennessee wasn't hard.  But you have to know English and you need to read the drivers' manual.  Some questions are tricky.
