Everyone else had professionally printed bibs, but the USA bibs (men and women) were done in magic marker.

  1. This is one interesting question, I never though anyone would have cared about that, I sure don't.

  2. I know!  Did the US managment team lose the bibs or something?  I don't know what was up with that.

  3. Guess the printer stopped working!

  4. I was wondering the same thing.  After both men and women dropped their batons and were disqualified from the 4x100 race, the commentators were judging their "team togetherness."  That is something else that just seems to show that has a team, there is not a lot of togetherness...they don't seem put together.

  5. They must not have gotten theirs back from dry cleaning yet?

  6. i know! it was very odd to see ours just in sharpie. both weren't good races at all though

  7. I was wondering that myself. Perhaps the fumes of the magic marker caused the third and fourth legs to hallucinate, and they imagined that they had passed the stick when they didn't. Those we two very disappointing races, unfortunately.

As Lauryn Williams said, "Someone out there must have had a voodoo doll for the USA". Or a fragrant Sharpie.

  8. They were not on the TSA list of acceptable items.

  9. that was interesting.

I'm sure we will get the story

  10. Perhaps their real bibs were being handled by the same guy who brought the wrong color uniforms for the USA for the men's basketball bronze-medal match in Sydney.  Both are disturbing symptoms of team disharmony and disorganization.

  11. does it matter??

maybe if we learned how to hand off and won both races people wouldnt care.
