USA against Russia ?

Who's weapon and army are better and who is going to win the war if that could occur? Russia or USA

Both are equal to a point, but Russia's soldiers are better trained because they don't train them with baby gloves., Russia would win.

we would mop the floor with Russia... our influence alone in Afghanistan caused the Russians to lose... and we took down Afghanistan in like a week. as long as it didn't come down to nuclear war we would win

Wow do you really need to ask this question? Of course the USA would win. We have far better technology, I'm not sure about the sheer number of troops, but we have a far better trained and probably larger Air Force and Navy. We would level Moscow to the ground before they could get close to the US coast/boarder. Our Marines and Air Force would deploy and straight kick Russia's @$$ and as soon as our Army  got there, they couldn't stand a chance. The USA would win by far, the only real threat Russia has is their nukes, but no matter what, they'd lose.

I love all your patriotic answers, and since im joining the military,i wish i could say the same as all of you  but, unfortunatly Russia has way way way more soldiers then we do. as does china. and even though are technology might be slightly better, these days everyone has weapons that will cause major damage.  not to mention russia does not follow the same rules we do and if it came to nuclear threats they would be much more likly to attack us before we would attack them. lets hope obama wins and gets us out of this mess.

not saying if there was a war with russia i would want to back down, im just saying it wouldnt be pretty.

I can't believe the guy saying that the U.S. took down Afghanistan in weeks ... if that was true, then why are us Canadians still over there cleaning up your mess, as well as some American troops that are still there?

Such a war would turn nuclear in the first five minutes, with millions of casualties on both sides.

The answer to your question is that neither side can win. The principle is called Mutually Assured Destruction.

In a full scale war using our nukes we would obliterate eachother within a few days. The nukes would also spread radiation and the smoke would block out the sun and the earth would freeze over. A full scale nuclear war would end the world.
