USA and Eu turn into enemies?

Could the USA and EU turn into enemies one day? I've been to Europe, and I can tell you the Europeans are hungry for world domination.

Hm...that's funny. What kind of world domination are you talking about here? Oil? Yeah, I thought USA was the leading state that attacked Iraq..

And, oh, off course, since you have been to Europe, you must know that actually European Union does not have military army..

Not in the foreseeable future.

There will and has been competition between countries--or regions of the world.

The closer you get to parity---the more competitive they are.

Europe--has long since been playing "second fiddle" to the USA for the past 60  years.  But now they are approaching parity to the USA and it's only natural that they want a bigger say in how the world is run.

But as long as goods are traded freely between the two regions and their governments are seen as roughly the same type of government they will remain friendly competitors--NOT MILITARY RIVALS

Rivals, almost certainly, if the EU acts as a concerted economic whole (including Britain etc) then it's the largest economic force in the world.

If the EU continues to expand and integrate and the U.S refuses to accept them as equal players then its inevitable, its happening already if only the EU system was streamlined slightly.

But enemies? No. Too many common enemies to unite against outside of the West.

With similar agendas and views of global cooperation it seems unlikely at present.

However as Europe is constantly increasing in economic power and trade and considering that the newer european countries are still only developing, it is inevitable that europe will be the worldsmost powerful superpower. (a shame the european parliment will never get along)
