US soldiers immunity under Iraqi law! Is that anything to do with political ripples from the Winter Soldier Investigation?

Anyone know anything on this please post! I am just interested that’s all.

It makes me angry that decent and good US soldiers are being tarnished by this c**p.

  1. we arnt leaveing untill their government is stable and can work on its own

  2. Who would have thought in March 2003 that we would be having these debates now?  We need to train up the new Iraq army FAST and get the heck out of the country.  The $$ savings can then be put to good use in schools and hospitals.

  3. What is wrong with our soldiers having immunity under Iraqi law?  I would think it would be a good thing, since war does have unintentional casualties.

  4. Only time will tell, but i wont believe were getting out till i see all of our soldiers out

  5. From what I heard, the end to immunity was focused on the private security companies used by Haliburton, etc... You know the mercenary security guards involved in the shooting massacre of civilians in Iraq.   Since they are not US soldiers, Iraq feels they are subject to Iraqi laws.

As far as 2011, that depends on the next election.  I'd be surprised if we are not out sooner.  However what everyone forgets is that still leaves Afghanistan.
