USA to UK shipment?

I am currently living in the UK and i am desperately trying to purchase a very small item of jewellery from the USA.

I have emailed the company and they are adamant that they cannot ship the item to me here in the UK.

So my question is if anyone knows of any overseas shipping services that would actually collect an item from a jewellery shop and then post it to me in the UK.

They cant or they wont? Thats the question,maybe they are a small company that is based in a rural part of the USA thats why they cant ship to UK.The best sollution is to look for the same piece of jewelry elsewhere
