USA to UK visit..what should i do

i'm on a F1 student visa here in the United States .. i wanted to go see my sister in Uk ...she is expecting for a baby girl. What the process to visit UK? do i need a visa? if yes how can i get it?

What Nationality are you, it all depends on that.

Like someone's already mentioned, it depends on which country you are from. However, I can tell you that when leaving the States, you need a form signed by your university, or wherever you're studying, that you are entitled to leave the country. You will then need to show it when you exit and enter the US.
