USAIN BOLT or MICHAEL PHELPS!!!!???

Question

Now I know Phelps has won 7 gold medals and is the greatest of all time yadayadayada but seriously who is the man of the games so far? Usain "Lightning" Bolt or Michael Phelps. I mean Bolt just showboated to a world record in the glamour event of the Olympic games. It was just amazing so my vote is for Bolt.

So who's the man of the games so far?

Michael Phelps is an amazing swimmer and EIGHT golds at one Olympics is nothing to sneeze at.

Bolt only has 1 OG (at the moment. I HIGHLY doubt it'll be his last, barring injury/natural disaster etc. etc.... ) but for me, it was the WAY he won his gold medal that made him the superstar :)

A slow stumbling start, an untied shoelace, showboating with like 10+ m to go and he still manages to blow the competition away with a NEW WORLD RECORD?!!?!

Phelps pretty much gave it his all but Bolt will leave the games with the whole world wondering just how much faster he could have run!  (I bet Phelps now wishes that he had dog-paddled the last 5-10m of some of his races :)

Now I'm just praying that there won't be any scandals *coughSeoulcough*

You can't compare them. Bolt is a sprinter, Phelps is a swimmer.

i say phelps because bolt might domanated the finals but in 200 meters he isn't dominate and phelps dominated everything except 100 meter betterfly

For me, It would be Bolt. As said before, the man took the blue ribbon event in the games in a show that has never been seen before.

He might leave these Olympics with 3 Golds and 3 world Records.

It is simply incredible....
