The U.S. Women’s junior team will be headed by coach, Robert Browning, while Erik Sullivan and Jill Kramer will act as the assistant coaches.
The head coach of the Junior American Team, Browning is hopeful about the better performance of his team.
Speaking of the team objectives, he stated, “Our goal is to win the World Championship and we have selected a team that can do it. The selection process was very competitive and there are some outstanding players who were left off the roster. We have a number
of veterans from last year's NORCECA Championship team as well as some new addition and I am excited to see them come together and form a cohesive team. The coaches we have selected to join me are also exceptionally good and I feel fortunate to be able to
work with them.”
The team will undergo a training camp before travelling to Peru. They are scheduled to hold their formal training camp at the Saint May’s College in Moraga, California. Team will spend almost 10 days at the training camp and the players will sharpen their
skills. The American coach has a goal to return with the gold-ware.
