  1. hard one i duno wat type of connection it is,1st install all the drivers and try again.

  2. You most likely have the USB drivers if you can use other USB devices in the USB port.

When you switch computers like that, you have to reset the modem. Try this:

    Start>Control Panel>Network connections

right-click on your connection listed there and choose Properties.

Pick "Internet Protocol" from the list and click the Properties button underneath it. Obtain IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server automatically.

Already set like that? Good. If not, make it. Click OK, etc.

Now turn off the computer. Not hibernate. Off. Turn off or unplug the modem for at least 20 seconds. Make sure the computer is plugged in to the modem. Plug the modem back in, let all the lights do their thing until they are all ready to go, then turn the computer back on and you should be in business. You'll have to reset the modem like that every time you switch back and forth with computers. It would be much easier to plug a wireless router into the modem so both computers could share that connection, and then you don't have to jump through hoops every time you want to go online.

  3. gosh this a hard one.

Maybe, just maybe you could use the internet connection that you have used to type this question to download the driver from.
