I had inherited a system with dual os - Windows XP and SUSE Linux. It uses GRUB to handle dual boot between os. I am a newbie to linux and I decided to install Ubuntu 8.0.4 becuase I do not have administrator password. Furthermore, I have a Logitech Easy call usb mouse and keyboard with speakerphone which worked fine before installing Ubuntu. The problem I now get with Ubuntu and XP is my Logitech mouse won't work under XP but work ok under ubuntu. What can possibly be wrong?I have to installed a ps2 Microsoft mouse to be able to continue using XP and I am able to use my Logitech mouse under Linux. Does GRUB 1.5 disable my usb mouse? I tried using a different Logitech usb mouse and reinstalled drivers in Windows to no success.
