The other day I spilled water all over my desk. My tablet and my keyboard were working fine but my mouse appeared to be broken (The bottom was no longer glowing red) I stayed on my computer for a few more hours using my tablet instead of the mouse. When I woke up yesterday I found that my tablet and my keyboard were now unresponsive as well (Like with the keyboard none of the lights were on) I assumed that it just took the water a little longer to seep into the rest of my equipment and now everything was broken. Today I tried to charge my iPod which was not on the desk at the time of the spill. When I plugged it in,as usual, it turned the iPod on but did not show that it was being charged.

I decided to try using them on my mom's laptop the devices seamed to respond. Even though the ports didn't get wet could they still have been fried from the spill? I really don't know what to do....

  1. No, it is extremely hard for the USB to be broken. Try to get it replaced.

  2. If you still have your warranty from Apple then use it to exchange it with another one.

  3. Maybe it is because water fell in the ports or you have to install it in control panel and add hardware and install the ports manually or automatically or try ,the one on the back of the desktop.

  4. Get a PC    :-Q

    Seriously now.

Try turning off the computer and let it dry out next time.
