USB radio Broadcaster?

Does anyone know of a product that i can plug into my laptop to broadcast my music on an AM or FM frequency to listen to in my car? Or to listen to in my house?

there are plenty of products that will broadcast your music to listen to in your car. however, the only ones i know of utilize the 12v dc accessory plug of the vehicle. while those do work in the vehicle, i've never believed that they transmit enough power to use throughout a house. i do know of a device that you would be able to use in your car or in your house. you would be able to adapt it to a 12v dc power source for vehicle use, use a low current regulator/rectifier to use in the house, or use the internal 9v battery for complete portability. it works on 5-15 volts dc. check out this kit from ramsey electronics. you might find what you're looking for or something that will do the job. if what you're looking for is something that connects to your usb slot on your laptop with an audio input to be broadcasted, good luck finding a device like that. you're sure to drain your laptop battery right away with that device. i would seriously consider this ramsey kit. http://www.ramseyelectronics.com/cgi-bin...

this isn't the only model they sell. some are quite fancy. this is just the basic FM modulator that they sell and the power output is enough to transmit throughout a house or to your neighbor's house, whereas the ones that are specifically designed to be used in your cars put out very weak power which means you have to search forever for a radio station who's power is coming into your car antenna at a lower level than the modulator. i really think this kit will do the job for you. i've thought about this kit myself.
