USB to DV chord not working Trying To Transfer Video From JVC Camcorder?

I bought an adapter chord so that I could run a cable from the DV slot on the camcorder into the USB slot on the front of my computer. When I turn the camera on, I get a USB error that tells me that the driver is not found.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This means that you actually need to read the manual that came with the product to:

1.  See if it works with your computer hardware

and

2.  See how to install it in the order that they say so that it will install the driver

and

3.  Find their web site in case you need a driver for a version of operating system not supported by the one that came with the product
