USCIS Immigration Documents?

Question

I just received my immigrant visa in the mail. I accidentally opened the envelope which said DO NOT OPEN. FOR IMMIGRATION OFFICER ONLY. The label was partially covered so I did not see it in the beginning. By the time I saw it, it was already too late. But I did not take out the papers inside. What should I do? HELP!

bring it back to the Embassy who issued it and explain to them what happened.You will be denied entry if you present it opened to any Point of Entry in the US.
