We have just received the letter indicating that our expedite request has been granted for our I-129F petition pending at Vermont s office, (filled in March of 2008), now does anyone know what should we expect to happen and how long will it take??? (To be more specific how long will take once the expedite has been approved for VM to process our I-129F send us the I-797 approval notice and then how long does it take for them to foward it to NVC and for NVC to process it and send it to the Rio de Janeiro consulate in Brazil... We had Bill Nelson as the congressman of Florida who tried assisting us at first after we received a notice from his office saying that our process did not qualify to be expedited we called the USCIS director s office at 202-272-8000 and filled the expedite request with all the proof ourselves, now it has been approved... now what happens and how long????) Should I also contact the NVC for expedite?
