USPS 2008 Exam. Is it true what they say...when in doubt choose C?

Taking test this coming Thursday. Heard it was really hard.

I wouldn't go by that logic. The best idea is to eliminate all choices that would be impossible. If you get it down to 4 choices, theoretically you will gain points if you just put a random guess. And if you get it down to 2 choices, I heard in a study that you should figure out the answer that you think it is, and then choose the other answer. Weird, I know, but that's what the study said.

Not true.

In a study on that, a wide variety of tests were taken. It turns out that the answers were actually well proportioned through A, B, C, and D.
