USPS HIRING PROCESS

Question

My Wife took her driving test & had an interview with a post master and he told her she would hear from the HR Dept within 30 days, is that 30 working days or 30 days including weekends.

this process has now been going on since last febuary,, how much longer does this take because if it is 30 business days we hope she hears from the usps in the next 6 days.

any help would surely be appreciated.

There is no set time. When I got hired (almost 6 years ago) it took 3 weeks, but it could take years. There are in no hurry, they are probably just worried about getting people in there before Christmas.

If she had an interview and driving test then her chances are pretty good. Postmasters don't do any work or get off their butts, unless there is a really good reason.
