USPS TRACKING SUCKs?

ITS HORRENDOUS it always says "it shipped" I KNOW THAT you aint gotta tell me, TELL ME WHERE THE h**l IS IT NOW. but no guys all i get is, "it shipped" again!!!!!!! jesus, i think usps is unreliable, im supposed to get it today(5-7 days, im in the 7th), but no, it doesnt feel like it. WHY DOES IT SUCK SO BAD?

 USPS "tracking" sucks because IT ISN'T TRACKING and USPS does not claim that it is real time tracking. Delivery Confirmation (along with the related product Signature Confirmation) was designed for commercial shippers to receive (electronic) feedback when an item is delivered so they can close the order. Since there is no business requirement that this type of function be real time (because they are not tracking the location of the product) USPS did not build an infrastructure to support real time tracking. If you look at your Delivery Confirmation receipt you will see that it entitles you to exactly what its name implies - confirmation of delivery of the piece - it does not say you are entitled to tracking. Tracking is only available on Express Mail and alimited number of USPS elite products.
