I shipped 5 packages through USPS carrier pick up and 2 days later 4 of the tracking info comes up on their website confirming their acceptance except one. Could someone help me out here. That was a pricey package and now I'm worried it was stolen. Could it be a glitch and tracking info would eventually come up? Thanks

  1. Sometimes there is not an update in their tracking system due to technology not being available with carrier or other.  You need to call the post office where it was delivered and/or put a trace on your package.

  2. It could eventually show up. Maybe. I am going to do some guessing here based on your comment of the one that is "missing" was pricey, and the other 4 are showing up. If you used Delivery Confirmation, you do not have tracking. It is not meant to be tracking.

Did you have Insurance on that one? Insured items are not viewable online at usps.com. Your local PO can look it up on our Intranet.

It is extremely unlikely that it was stolen. Like I said, I am doing some guessing.

You can make a lost mail report 14 days after the date of mailing, and you can make a claim on the insurance 21 days after the date of mailing.
