I'm going to go to the PO tomorrow, and it's been a while. I'm shipping out a small accessory in a small box (length: 2", width: 5", height: 1.5") and I was wondering what is the smallest envelope they have to ship it in?

When I recieved it, it was from Australia and it was sent in a ~5x7" envelope, tyvek, and bubble wrap attached inside. I was wondering is USA Post office has it too? If not what's the smallest size?

  1. Some post offices are better stocked than others, but it sounds like the envelope you're interested in is pretty commonly found.

I was at the post office on Friday and saw envelopes like that and also some that are printed with things like flowers and patterns--extremely pretty.  I was surprised the old USPS had such a festive attitude.  They also have plain boxes, just in case you want to go that route.
