USPS has done this to me numerous times in the past. I placed an order on eBay with a seller that I know to be reputable and who notified me when my order shipped. No they did not provide me with a tracking number. What are my legal rights and what can I do about this situation? The value of the merchandise is trivial but I spent my hard earned money on it none the less. This angers me very much if the USPS was a private company they couldn't get away with this bull****.

  1. First they have to retrace every thing, once that is done get a confirmation of it and report it to the company that you ordered from, most will replace it or UPS has to replace it.

  2. This is why I ALWAYS get insurance for ebay stuff.

  3. did you insure it? Seems to me, with the experience you describe, you would have learned your lesson by now.

  4. get insurance

  5. I never have that problem because I insist on a Tracking number. You can file a report with the Post Office but Good luck with that.

  6. Sorry, you are *OL
