I just checked my bank statement and it says there is a charge of 27.95 when I only shipped 4 small manilla envelopes first class without any additional delivery confirmation or insurance. I cannot find the reciept and believe me I have tried, I basically cleaned out my car in attempts to locate it. How do I get my refund? Will I have to do a chargeback with my bank?

  1. All you have to do is contact your bank or the issuing financial institution of your card & explain that an UNAUTHORIZED TRANSACTION occured.

THIS IS A TRUE STATEMENT. You did not authorize for a transaction of almost $30 for 4 small 1st class envelopes.

The Postal Service should be able to easily track the transaction the day of yours & your bank/credit union, etc should refund the difference instantly.

GO TO YOUR BANK 1ST, then contact the Local Post Office of where the transction occured

  2. Call USPS and explain what shows on your bank statement, and tell them you can send them a copy of the statement from the bank and see what they will do.
