When sending a package through USPS priority mail do I need to create my own label showing the receiver's address and sender's address? Will they give me a blank label at the post office for me to add the addresses on? Thanks in advance.

  1. You can be provided a label to use on your package at the PO. You can also use Click-n-Ship at usps.com to create a shipping label.

If you would do that, you will get a discount on the postage for Priority Mail as well as receiving Delivery Confirmation for free.

Then you can just leave it for your carrier to pick up. No trip to the PO is necessary.
