USTA Norcal tournaments?

Question

in terms of skill of players, how much higher is the open level than the novice level? there arent that many novice level tournaments where i live so i am wanting to play some other tournaments.

There's a big difference. The highest level is really tough and they hit the ball so flat and super hard. Tough stuff, it is....
