USTA Rankings?

I'm Boy's 12 Junior, playing satellite tournaments and will playing in Open tournaments make my rank go higher than it will playing in satellite tournaments? Oh and do i need any qualifications to play open tournaments?

OMG. This is crazy! I'm 12 and I'm playing Satellite tournaments. Here's the info:

Just like when you start playing satellite tournaments, you can usually enter tournaments without problems, but you are more likely to be accepted into tournaments if you perform well and win a few tournaments. The same rules follow for open. Good luck and have fun!
