  1. In my opinion Azureus vuze is the best! :)

  2. Torrenting allows people to share files over the internet but by sending out data to other downloaders. You will only be able to send out data if your torrent program is open. Certain torrent programs will allow you to manage what downloaders can download from your computer. uTorrent is one of them. I use uTorrent because it's runs from 1 file.

  3. i use ares tbh...

Its a p2p program like limewire but it opens torrent files, which i didnt know and downloads quick

but apart from that, i always used to use bitlord or bitcomet

btw: "Peer means equal, so peer to peer in this case means pc to pc. Peer to peer file sharing is a way to store and share files on a network without using a file server. The most common usage is with programs like limewire where you download something from other computers, and then allow other people to download the file from your computer."

however you can stop them from seeing your files..

    and a torrent..

A .torrent file is a file that contains the basic information about a file or set of files. This includes the file names, sizes, the date created and some other information. The torrent file also contains an info hash - which is basically just a unique code for that torrent. No other set of file(s) will have the same info hash as this one. The final thing contained inside the torrent is a list of trackers. If you have some torrent files, you can't open them in a text editor because they are encoded. You will need to open them in torrent client software

  4. hi there!

i think i should suggest you "uTorrent" as i am using the same, they have provided the latest version 1.8, it is easy to use and working good.

now about spy-where... yes they are free of spy-where etc. it's only the file you are downloading or uploading that contain spy-where the software just download it for you. you should use a anti-virus program before executing any downloaded program.

now about access rights... nope others don't have any access to files on your computer, but only those files which you add in the utorrent or bit torrent software to download as it uploads at the same time...

it's all up to you how you use the software.

these software the speed of your internet connection, i should say if you are browsing or surfing then try not to download through these software only if you have i high speed internet connection then there is no problem...

  5. Hey, my personal opinion is uTorrent, it's great.

It's free of spyware/virus etc etc.

Well, here's the deal about torrents(torrents are files you download on utorrent) people who are downloading it are known as leechers, and they are downloading it off people who are known as seeders.

With utorrent it automatically puts a file you download into your seed list, so people will be downloading off you. You can remove the torrent from the seed list at any time.

But it is frowned upon to download and not give something back;)

I'm not sure if bittorrent has this feature, but with utorrent you can set it to automatically shut down your computer after all your downloads have finished.

Peer to Peer means person to person. EG: Downloading it off people.

    Remember more seeds=faster downloads.

  6. Azureus Vuze

  7. UTorrent! That is what my boyfriend and i use. It is great and free! I love using UTorrent because it is fast and easy. im not sure what those mean . Sorry. If you want to wait a few minutes I can call my boyfriend and ask. ha

  8. I personally haven't used any of those two, but I have used Azureus Vuze. It's very user friendly and I think it's the best. :) Anyway, generally all torrents are spyware and adware free, however sometimes they are not.

If you download a file, only other people will gain access to THAT file, but not actually. Once you download the file, it 'seeds' it to other users so that they have it to. That's an example of peer to peer file sharing.

Torrent files are the files you need to download in order to use a torrent thing like Azureus or uTorrent.
