Hi! I would try Emporium Nail Spa Skin on Fort Apache. I am actually getting married in May and have not had acrylics in years. I hate them as well and I have very nice hard nails but my problem is that at times they crack and I didn't want to be dealing with that on m wedding day. I went this past Tuesday and had them put on. I think the set cost me $65 but so far I am happy with them. They look very natural an are not thick. I did have two small chips that I plan on getting fixed on my day off but I would recommend them over acrylics.
