UV lights at parties

Question

I'm having a party with a large group of friends and want to have UV lights to make things like white shirts and flourescent paints glow. Someone mentioned this may be a health hazard. Is this so? What can I do to make sure no one gets harmed? Thanks in advance

The way not to harm anyone is to not do it.  UV light is not good for people's eyes, could cause permanent harm.  Think of another idea.
