I'm a senior in high school and last year i visited UW-Madison and i fell in love, the only problem is that I haven't taken very challenging courses and my sophomore year really brought my GPA down, but from that year I have raised my grades extremely high, and I am taking 3 Advanced Courses next half, I have done Field Hockey for 2 years, Lacrosse for my third year this year, I am on math team and yearbook, I am def. retaking the SATS and most likely going to take the ACTS, I plan on doing community service at DHMC (Dartmouth) I am joining a program at my church to do Habitat For Humanity and help out the earth and the people in my community. i am hoping to graduate with a 3.0 maybe even a 3.1 I know that's really low but I have heard of people who got in with that. I will have really great recommendations and am focusing a TON on my essay to them.

Do you think i have a shot?

  1. With a 3.0 GPA unfortunately, while you have a shot, your chances are low.  Only 5% make it with a GPA that low.

My suggestion is apply, but have some other backup choices:
