Uber Cup Finals: Eriko Hirose stamps her supremacy over Lene Clausen in Women’s Singles fight
Japan’s talented player Eriko Hirose put up remarkable show and stamped her supremacy over Denmark’s Lene Clausen in Women’s Singles encounter at Uber Cup Finals 2012 at Wuhan, China, on Tuesday, May 22.
Hirose, who has been placed at number 24 in Women’s Singles world rankings, put up stunning show in front of Chinese crowd and remained successful in wrapping up victory over her lower ranked Danish challenger in a comprehensive fashion.
The higher ranked Japanese was incredible in the court when she delivered a wonderful performance and won the battle easily in straight games with a tremendous score on board.
On the other hand, Lene tried to show her brilliance but failed to put up resistance against the power play of her higher ranked Japanese opponent and lost the battle with a one-sided score on the board.

The Japanese shuttler was in commanding position against her Danish rival and she took a thrilling lead until the mid-game interval.
After the break, Hirose continued proving her elite skills without facing any interruption form her Danish opponent in the whole opening game and easily wrapped it up with a tremendous 21-10 score on the board.
In the second game, the Danish lady tried to play aggressive badminton in opening rallies but soon gave up as she failed to maintain the pace at the highest level and started to commit mistakes.
In the meanwhile, Hirose played with precision and control and eventually established a sensational gap on the score board until the break.
After the interval, Lene geared up her speed to reduce the deficit but her higher ranked Challenger was one class above in the court.
Hirose was quite confident in the court and she did not face any difficulty in taking the second game with a phenomenal 21-7 score on the board.
Hirose emerged as the winner in this battle that took 31 minutes and it was Hirose who remained successful in winning it with a comprehensive score of 21-10 and 21-7.
