Publisher also tells gamers to expect plenty of Nintendo Wii U news during their press conference as well as Rayman Legends and Rocksmith. June just got a bit more exciting.
The Electronic Entertainment Expo is literally just around the corner, with less than a month to go before the video game industry’s main exhibition-c*m-event a number of publishers are set to announce their line-ups.
Ubisoft is the first of the major publishers out of the blocks as they have given an outline of what they will be showcasing during their Press Conference at the event. The conference will be invitation only but gamers can expect the conference to be broadcast online via Gamespot and other major video game review sites.
According to Ubisoft, their press conference will be “full of blockbuster games and surprises.” As to what those surprises are, well the studio did not even give a hint as to what one could expect so speculating at this pointless would be as helpful as searching for a needle in a bale of hay at night without any arms.
Over-exaggerated analogies apart, Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed 3 and Far Cry 3 will both feature heavily during the press conference as will Rocksmith and Rayman Legends. At the same time gamers can also expect to get the full lowdown on what the publisher will be offering for Nintendo’s next generation console, the Wii U.
Yves Guillemot, the CEO of Ubisoft, added some hype to their upcoming conference stated, “This year’s E3 promises to be one of our biggest and best yet.” He continued, “We’re showcasing the strongest, most competitive collection of core titles we’ve had in years, innovative new games for new platforms and a broad line-up that has something for everyone.”
Far Cry 3 and Assassin’s Creed 3 will be getting the most attention as both titles look set to shake up the foundations of their respective series. Far Cry 3 will see a grittier, graphic take on the genre while Assassin’s Creed 3 will have the difficult task of trying to take its new protagonist to the same level as Ezio Auditore and Altair.
