Ubuntu is confusing me someone help!?

Ok i just downloaded ubuntu and i have a problem..it says to download the driver for my wireless card..and every time i do it wont let me for some reason, i have downloaded "Windows Wireless Cards" or w.e. thats called..i just dont know what to do..I know that it detects it but idk why its not installing correctly..

First check the compatibility of your wireless card:

just wanted to add that when all else fails, ndiswrapper and a windows driver works too
