Reports from De Koel confirm that VVV-Venlo have clinched the services of Nigerian International, Uche Nwofor, from Enugu Rangers. The 19-year-old has penned down a three-year deal with the outfit from Venlo.

in the ongoing summer transfer market, but VVV beat the Portuguese outfit in the race for his signature.
“VVV-Venlo have signed Uche Nwofor for three years. Venlo beat Benfica to sign him. We had to take into consideration Uche's development as a footballer. Venlo assured that he would get regular playing time and that is the key to his growth as a player”,

The young striker’s agent then went on to reveal that his client will join the outfit from Venlo after the FIFA U-20 World Cup concludes, as the 19 year-old is currently representing Nigerian U-20 side at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Colombia-c2873.
“Uche will move to Venlo once the World Cup is over. He will be an integral part of the side for the 2011/2012 season”, Harris concluded.
Glen de Boeck, VVV-Venlo manager, also confirmed the signing of the Nigerian ace and revealed that the youngster will join his squad in the coming weeks.
“The technical director has confirmed me that our new striker is Nwofor. He will arrive here in few days”, De Boeck said while talking to the journalists.
