  1. I'm not sure; both are public schools, so the tuition fees shouldn't vary too much.

  2. The total undergraduate fees for a California resident at UCal-Irvine this year is $2925.50 for the fall and $2924.50 for the spring. That's a total of $5850. This figure includes tuition, mandatory health insurance, and all of the other fees that undergrads are required to pay. (it does not include room and board, however)

At UCLA, the 2008-2009 tuition and fees total $7452. That's 27% more.

    I hope that helps.

I didn't answer your question about continuing on to get your master's at UCLA, because I don't understand what you want to know. If you hope to attend graduate school at UCLA, you would need to apply to the graduate program. It isn't like moving on from 11th grade to 12th, it's a whole separate "school" with its own separate admissions process. Graduate admissions are far more competitive than undergraduate admissions, because the graduate programs are far smaller.

  3. It's important to know that graduating in 3 years may not be possible. Both schools have cut many classes due to budget cuts and getting the classes you need to graduate will be hard.
