Ucla - sat subject tests?

im pretty sure ill be applying to ucla next year.

im curious if anyone knows how important a factor subject tests are. im taking them tomorrow and im so nervous. i dont feel nearly prepared enough. im taking chemistry, but i havent had ap, as well as spanish and math. math i should be fine in, spanish will hopefully be alright, but chemistry i'm especially worried about, since i dont think my honors course covered a lot of the material.

i have around a 4.0 weighted gpa and my sat1s are reading 640 math 720 writing 790.

will poor subject tests significantly hurt my chances?

  1. Provided you are from CA:

You are applying to UCLA, your SAT score is more than fine.  Isnt their average 1000 anyway?  You dont even need subject tests.  The only benefit I can see to taking them is maybe you will get more money in scholarships.  Dont stress, hakuna matata baby

    Out of state:

Hope you ace the c**p out of those subject tests... not many outsiders get in to big state system schools.

  2. i'm taking them tomorrow too!

    yaaaaaaaaaaaay

    good luck :)
