Udinese: http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gabriel-Torje-c14344 would impress in future, says Francesco Guidolin
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Udinese-Calcio-c40789 boss Francesco Guidolin believes that Alexis Sanchez was meant to leave the club and it was an impossible task to make him stick around at Friuli. The tactician believes that the world class player caught the eye of every big club in the continent
and some offers cannot be refused.
The Chilean international came to Stadio Friuli in 2006 but was immediately sent to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Colo-Colo-c38847 and later to River Plate on a loan transfer deal under the maturation project of Udinese. On his return to the Italian top flight in 2008, Sanchez gradually became
one of the most consistent players for the Zebrette.
The striker was ranked as the most valuable player in the Serie A after the 2010/11 season and it was reported that many big names throughout Europe like Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus FC and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan are interested
to sign the young sensation. However, having the wish to play for the European champions, Sanchez made his way to Barcelona during the summer transfer window for 26 million Euros.
Now the Udinese coach claims that he wishes to have the player at his disposal but the striker had to move on in order to gain more experience and win trophies.
“The club did all that it could to keep Sanchez. The problem is that when a club like Barcelona arrive, there really is nothing that you can do about it,” said Guidolin.
The Bianconeri have acquired Gabriel Torje from the Romanian outfit Dinamo Bucuresti. The young Romanian international is reckoned to be a replacement of Sanchez and he is also referred to as the ‘Romanian Messi’.
“The boy is alert, he understands Italian and he’s more than just an interesting player. I could even try him as an attacking midfielder behind two strikers in the future. However, he needs to be left to work in peace,” concluded the technician.
The 22-year-old cost Udinese 7 million Euros during the recent summer transfer window.
