£26 million contract deal with Spanish giants.
Having featured for the Italian club in over 100 matches, the 22-year-old has caught the eyes of many European clubs following a spell of impressive performances with the Zebrette in the season ended. The Chilean international has been heavily linked with
move away from Stadio Friuli in this summer transfer season, with Barcelona being nearly confirmed as his future destination.

Describing this whole issue as a complicated one, Chile manager, Claudio Borghi said, “It's a very complicated matter. If we don't allow him to travel, and the sale goes through, we would be accountable for $45million in the event of anything happening to
him. We know we cannot be responsible for that amount of money, so the ideal situation would be for him to travel and sign when the deal is confirmed.”
Despite Barcelona being the frontrunners to land the highly-rated striker at Camp Nou, Udinese are still optimistic that they will cling on to their star winger. Having contributed immensely in Udinese’s UEFA Champions League qualification by scoring 12
brilliant goals in the season ended, Sanchez’s current contract with the Serie A club would expire in 2014.
