Udinese want over forty million for Alexis Sanchez – Barcelona and Manchester City proceed with caution
Udinese have gone on to confirm that they are now looking for an offer worth at least fifty million Euros, in order to part ways with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexis-Sánchez-c4979.
Chilean international and prolific winger, Sanchez was being linked with a move to Barcelona or Manchester City. However, it now seems that a deal for the player is anything but a done deal and this is despite it previously being reported that the player
was on the verge of boarding a plane to his new employers, just a couple of days ago.
Udinese club owner, Giampaolo Pozzo, when talking about the player’s transfer is quoted to have said: "If Barca want him, they have to pay his fair price, which is €50million (£44m)," Pozzo told AS.
"He is the piece missing in Guardiola's puzzle, a player who makes the difference.
"You do not have to see it as an expensive transfer, since I am sure Madrid will not win anything next year if Barca sign him. I am sure this alone is enough to justify his price.
"That is the math they should do, besides thinking they will be signing a rising star just 22 years old who will bring much joy for at least a decade."
It was previously reported that Barcelona were the club that Sanchez had his heart set on joining. However, it now seems like Manchester City might have just taken the lead. This sole reason for that being the financial incentives that City can provide.
In fact, Pozzo has gone on to confirm this theory, as he is quoted to have said: "The truth is that Manchester City are making an offer which is more generous than that from Barcelona.”
It is rather amusing to see Udinese finally starting to get a little greedy over Sanchez. The team seems to have just realized that they have a chest of gold in the form of Sanchez and they are going to milk him for every last penny.
Despite http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 feeling like they had this transfer in the bag, it now seems like the negotiations regarding Sanchez are going to head into overtime and won’t be completed for at least another couple of weeks.
According to most experts, the only way Barcelona can potentially get their hands on Sanchez is if they sell a key player or two and/or include a fringe player as part of the deal. If the Catalans fail to do that, then they might as well say goodbye to the
prospect of landing Sanchez.
