  1. My best friends mother went thru a very long illness that was so stressful on her and on all the people around her. But the very best thing that my friends and I did for her was being there. Her mom may be fine later, but right now she's going to go thru a lot worry about that and how it effects her. Sometimes she's going to want to talk and freak out. You're there to listen. Sometimes she's going to want a distraction, you can provide that too.

Don't worry about you freaking out, that just means you care about your friend and her mom. Just realize that even though her family is going thru a rough patch, they're still the same people they've always been and show them the love you always have.

  2. well my mom hade breast carcer and it isnt somthing to joke about and u should go see her and get her a gift too!

  3. you have to be calm. If your state of mind is as it appears in your question, your friend will not be consoled. You can tell her or remind her that not all cancers nowadays are not fatal. My mom was diagnosed of breast cancer in '91 and she was told that her life is good for 2 more years. Thanks God, with chemotherapy and prayers and family support, she is still strong.

You have to be convincing if you want to help your friend.

  4. you just have to be positive. having cancer isn't always the worse thing because sometimes it can go away and they can go into remission after having treatment and sometimes it can be removed. my dad has prostate cancer and after his surgery he was given the all clear after a few months and he is now as healthy as ever. let her vent or cry when she needs to but try and stay positive and give her hope!!

  5. aww i'm sorry just try to keep every thing posbel

  6. aww i kinda had the same situation with my friend but her mom didnt have cancer she had something else.. i told my friend that i will be there for her and i will do what i can to help her make the best out of it.. i even told her i would help her do somethin to please her mom.. you jus gotta let her know that shes not alone and if she ever needs someone your always gonna be there for her no matter what happens
